Saying I Do to the Perfect Wedding Venue was Easy for this Bride

Ashley Provenzano has a hard time narrowing down all the things she loves about her husband. “He’s just a really great guy. We have a lot of the same values and he keeps me laughing and he’s really great to look at!”

Provenzano first met her future husband in middle school and the two reconnected after college, tying the knot at the Venues at Langtree in 2019.

“It was just a great day,” she says. “It was just the perfect day. I went in with the expectation that it would go by quick and I wouldn't remember anything and there would be something that would go wrong. But, really, we remember every part of our experience of our wedding day. And everything seemed to go on without a hitch. It was my favorite day.”

Provenzano believes a lot of the ease of the day has to do with the fact that the Venues at Langtree offers so many different setting options for different types of celebrations, all in one location. Her guests didn’t have to drive anywhere once they arrived for the wedding.

“We used every inch of the property, I think,” she says laughing. “One of the best things about the property was that it was really convenient for our guests. I think that's part of why we didn't have any issues because it made it really smooth for all the vendors and it made it really smooth for us. There was just nothing to stress about because everything was here in one place.”

She was also grateful that the team at The Venues so willing to work with her on all of her requests. “I would tell any bride who is looking at different locations that one of the biggest things is just to find a venue that's really flexible and allows you to make it uniquely yours. There were some things that we wanted to change and everybody was willing and on board to help us do that.”

The new mom says she was also grateful for what she calls the perfect setting. She and her groom knew they wanted to get married close to where they grew up in the Lake Norman area, but they also wanted a rustic feel and worried that rural feel would be hard to find and still be convenient for guests who would be flying in for the celebration.

“We were looking for something more intimate and also something that tied in to nature. We both love the outdoors and spend a lot of time outdoors, so that was something that was important to us. But even though we have a lot of family and friends that are local, we also had people that were traveling from all over the country. So, the fact that the Charlotte Airport is really close by, was great. There are also tons of great hotel options on this exit, as well as just a couple exits up or down. And we had a rehearsal dinner about 10 minutes away. So, we were able to really accommodate everything that we wanted and still have this amazing setting.”

Provenzano says the stunning setting that the venue offers helped contribute to so many of her favorite moments from her wedding day.  “Another fantastic thing about the venue was just the backdrops. So, every photo, whether it was first thing in the morning, getting ready with the bridal party, it provided just a beautiful backdrop. We did our first look in a garden right out front, beside the house, where it just provides a lot of privacy. And it was just a really sweet, intimate moment for us to have our first look with our photographer. And then I remember taking sunset photos out in the back field after the ceremony. And those are, to this day, my favorite and ones that we've had posted in our home.”

The Venues at Langtree in Mooresville, North Carolina is home to more than 26,000 square feet and five different venue spaces that can accommodate events like large weddings, private parties, corporate retreats and intimate gatherings with both indoor and outdoor options. Also coming later this year, an additional half acre of outdoor space.
